Breakfast Club
By Takaido Akemi
Overall: Crap
Smex Factor: Chaste
Art: Generic (thin lines, but it's difficult to tell people apart; uninteresting)
Status: 5 volumes; Ongoing
Review: I....I don't even know what this is about. No really, it's all OVER the place. The story starts out focusing on a student who's new to the dorm. His roommate's a prostitute, so he falls in love with him and makes him stop prostituting himself. (I've always wondered if prostituting is a real word.)
Pretty standard? Okay, then there's the dorm's "Breakfast Club" which meets in the middle of the night (!?) and doles out punishment to naughty dorm members (like thieves). .......Yeah.
And then there's the guy who's sleeping with the innocent little dorm manager, but is actually in love with his roommate or something. And he's the prostitute's cousin, and he's always getting in the way of prostitute-boy's and noobie-boy's sexy times. And there is relationship strain with his beloved roommate.
NOT TO MENTION the NEW dorm manager (because they fire the one that the student was sleeping with I think?) who is hired by the vice principal to spy/take evidence that the dorm members are breaking conduct/drinking/smoking/sexing. But then the new dorm manager decides he'd rather molest pretty boys instead and what?
It's all just very confusing.
And the first volume has two side stories that don't make a lot of sense. The characters all look so similar that it's hard to figure out what's going on.
Who knows what's going on?
A better question: who cares?
