Review: Ugh. I hate this one. Well, I'm not a supporter of teacher-student relationships in general, but especially when the teacher is an abusive, manipulative bastard.
And basically, this book implies that love can grow out of rape and blackmail, which is just... No. It's just wrong. At best, Heita has Stockholm's syndrome. And to worsen that, Sensei's attitude toward him, cold and detached, never actually gets better. And I'm supposed to believe that there's some kind of "love" there? Bullshit.
Another annoying factor: it's one of those "no girls, everyone's gay" universes. And the guy that Heita has a crush on, his best friend, turns out to have a crush on him too. And he's a good guy. Yet Heita's like, "NO I LOVE RAPIST SENSEI NOW." What. The. Fuck. No.
The oneshots aren't much better. The second one is boring and full of gay, prissy boys. (The worst kind of boy is a prissy boy.) The first one is kind of interesting because it's broken, and it's aware of it, for once. It actually directly contradicts the main story by implying that rape is bad. Also, although it's a little random, it does sort of explain the perpetrator's reason for what he did.
........Doesn't make this worth reading though. It just made me angry.
