Review: I'm kinda disappointed because usually her story telling is pretty solid... But...

All that seemed necessary to glean from the first volume is that it's about manga-kas, Kagura likes Hiroshi (and has slept with him a couple times), Hiroshi has a girlfriend named Rumi, and there's Tanabe and Shinozaki who aren't really important.
Basically, Hiroshi's a bit frivolous.
I couldn't understand the rest of it (I'll assume that it was a bad translation....)

The second volume's a bit more clear, like she figured out what she actually wanted to do and kinda just threw out the previous volume. Hiroshi says "I'M NOT GAY!" and draws BL. And sleeps with men. ...(I'm not even gonna bother anymore.)
But he wants to draw shounen manga, not BL. (Doesn't change the fact that he sleeps with men.)
NOT TO MENTION, Hiroshi's an unpleasant, annoying character that gives up too easily, takes on things that he can't handle, and is generally just selfish. He's irritating to read.

Question: Why is a Shounen Young Cup editor looking through a BL magazine for fresh talent?
And while, yes, Shounen magazines have been getting sorta gay these days, I don't think love or sex plays into any of that either way...

Since I'm writing as I read, here's what I think of the rest of it: LAME. She doesn't intersperse the romance and the manga process very well, so it ends up just chunky. Seriously, just go read Under Grand Hotel and Bakuman. It's the same thing only way better.
I'm so disappointed in this manga-ka. Is this an early work? (Also, she's having some serious issues with proportions.)
