Review: Ooooooh, it's so good! Its style is simplistic and its script too, but the story is complex and beautiful, and the "show don't tell" is done really well.

Most of all, I'm impressed with her ability to surprise me. Shoowa takes a lot of yaoi cliches and turns them right around, and she does this all while keeping a mellow natural pace and tone. She also manages to weave every part of the story together very tightly, so every chapter is satisfying.

And the CHARACTERS! Oh, the CHARACTERS. Each character has so many different aspects of their personality; they react differently in different situations, around different people... Just the way it should be! Kenta's character in particular was especially interesting. He's aloof, he's affectionate, he's embarrassed, he's embarrassING.... ("Press...MISSLE LAUNCH." Pffftthahaha...That is totally something I would do...Ohgod...)

Again with the surprises.

She also has one of those "sex scenes that are not about the sex." They're perfect in stories about love. Oh, and the story IS a bit confusing at first, but that actually just increases re-reading value. Oh, it's just so good...

Also, they mention that OK Go treadmill video, which made me laugh.

The side story's from another book she did called Nobody Knows.
It's also an excuse to add a senseless three-page threesome to the book.

I like her sense of humor a lot. Anybody who draws like this is A-OK in my book.
(Okay, she doesn't draw the whole book like this...But she should have.)
