Review: This is a volume comprised of several stories, mostly insipid. I also have the desire to note that in English this is called "My Wild Servant."

The first is about a prim “young master.” His caretaker is old and breaking, so his grandson takes his place. His grandson is a trucker. The hot kind(?). They fall in love randomly and have sex. Basically, what I got from this was: young master has the sexual (and all around in general, really) maturity of a nine year old, and he’s pretty spoiled once you get past his already-unpleasant, spic’n’span exterior. So this story was dumb.

The second story is about star-crossed step-brothers who just can’t seem to make it work. Well, either they have a hard time being together, or they’re just stupid teenagers who just…forgot(!?) that their parents were still in the house when they had sex. They also make the stupidest expressions in this. Oh my god, their faces are terrible. Overly melodramatic bastards.

In the third story, one man takes a cold shower without noticing, and his lover, panicked, asks him “Do you want to die!?” (I couldn't make something like that up.)

The fourth isn’t dream-like because it’s about making porn, but rather because the pacing is confusing and there is an overwhelming feeling that something about it simply doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t make sense because there’s no sense of time. It doesn’t make sense because there’s no reason behind any of the characters’ actions.

The fifth story makes me wonder whether people in Japan really nickname handsome men “Prince,” and if all of these “Princes” are really sexual deviants.

And finally we revisit the first story. This time, the prim man’s lover gets jealous of his own grandfather. Now. I have read a lot of stupid things, BL and otherwise, but I have never heard someone apologize for being too rough in bed by saying “I was jealous of grandpa.” This leads me to suspect that this young man is grasping at straws, and his real intentions were to simply have sex with the aid of a necktie, while not angering his amazingly prudish lover. Or he associates his grandfather with sex, which is just……..
